Your great marketing communication design should be easy to understand, straight to the point and uncomplicated.

What is Negative Space? Negative Space (sometimes called “white space”) is the empty area/space around the elements in your great communication design. A lot of times we don’t pay attention to the negative space as we’re designing and this can lead to things feeling busy and unbalanced. As you position your text, images, and other elements, pay attention to the surrounding negative space, and make sure you give some space around each element. Try not to cramp your elements too close to each other nor to the edges of your canvas. You can also create a guide on all four sides of the canvas to keep your elements within, so you don’t get too close to the canvas edges. Giving your elements room to “breathe” helps your great marketing communication design look more sophisticated, professional and satisfying to the viewer’s eye.
